Zombie Tag is a 4-player Minigame in Wii Party.
Introduction[]
The four players timidly walk into a graveyard with the gates closing behind them. Camera zooms up to the back of a Mii. The Mii turns around and reveals that they are a zombie. The camera zooms out to show the full area, which shows two more zombies. The players jump in surprise. The minigame starts.
Gameplay[]
Taking place in a graveyard, the players must run from three zombies that try to capture them. If a player gets tagged by a zombie, they turn into one and can assist the other zombies in catching the other players. The last player standing wins.
Spot the Sneak[]
In Spot the Sneak, the zombies will completely ignore the Sneak and go after the other players.
Ending[]
Zombies stop advancing. Sky turns from night to sunrise. The zombies and the zombie players turn back to normal Miis and they fall to the ground and are dizzy. The winning character smiles and jumps with happiness.
Trivia[]
- This minigame is based off a popular outdoor game which is played in quite the same fashion.
- Even though Expert Difficulty and Master Difficulty Miis are smarter than others, they usually don't go to the nearest opening when they're about to get caught by zombies.
- The default time for the minigame is 5 minutes; the timer only shows up during the last 10 seconds.
- If all players survived, it will result in a tie; additionally, the ending will play normally but with fewer zombies.
- The tombstones will always change.
- A bat will occasionally fly by.
- The zombie Miis will sometimes clip through the tombstones a little bit.
- If you look at the background, there seems to be another fence, meaning that there might be another graveyard.
- When a Mii is a zombie, their shirts will be short-sleeved instead of long-sleeved. There will also be tears where the sleeves are and at the bottom of the shirt.
- When the Miis turn back to normal, their clothes will automatically change back too.
- The grass on the graveyard is a bit off, considering that the players that get near it look like they're floating.
- If a Mii stops running, they will have a sad expression rather than a surprised one.
- The Miis shown on the example video on the rules section appear to be Elisa, Keiko, Ian, Abe, Rachel, Stéphanie and Víctor, with the former four as players and the latter three as NPC zombies.
