"Compete in a single-elimination or round-robin tournament in this Tabletop mode." |
Tabletop Tournament is a game mode in Wii Party U. There are two modes: Single-Elimination Tournament and Round-Robin Tournament.
Single-Elimination Tournament[]
This mode is a standard bracket elimination tournament. Each side plays a 1 vs. 1 Gamepad minigame and the person who wins gets to advance forward to the finals. Whoever wins the overall finals is declared the winner.
Round-Robin Tournament[]
Like the Single-Elimination Tournament 1 vs.1 Gamepad minigames will be played. Unlike that mode however, every player faces off against one another. If two or more players have the same amount of wins, whoever has less losses will be ranked higher. Whoever has the most wins and least losses at the end of the game is declared the winner.

Trivia[]
- In this mode and Mii Fashion Plaza, two CPU players facing off in a minigame will be skipped.
- This is the only mode in Wii Party U where players don't wear the usual blue-red-green-yellow colors corresponding to their player number. Instead, everyone wears plain white.
- This may be because players are assigned either blue or red within the Tabletop Minigames based on which side of the GamePad they're using, so having them wear different colors in the intermissions would've been confusing.
