Solo Mode is a 1-player mode in the Minigames section of Wii Party.
Gameplay
The objective of this game is to get to the rocket ship by passing through stages.
Beginner difficulty has five stages, Intermediate has ten stages, and for Expert, there are 50 stages. Each stage has a 4-player, 1 vs 3 or 1 vs 1 Minigame.
In the easier modes, the player gets to choose Minigames from different paths. Expert mode has just one straight path. The player starts with 3 lives, and they get an extra life (1UP) on every 1 vs 3 Minigame. To pass a stage, the player must win a 1 vs 3 and 1 vs 1 Minigame or come in 1st, 2nd or even 3rd place in a 4 player Minigame (If a player ties in any mini game or ties in last place, it still counts as passing.). If the player places 4th (not tying in last) in a 4 player minigame or loses a 1 vs 3 or 1 vs 1 Minigame, they go back a stage, and they lose a life. Losing all lives ends the game.
Score
- Winning any Minigame or 1st place in a 4-player Minigame: 10 points
- Losing any Minigame or 4th place in a 4-player Minigame: 0 points and -1 heart (Losing all the hearts results in Game Over)
- Tie in a 4-player or 1 vs 1 : No points, but it still counts as passing
- 2nd place in a 4-player Minigame: 5 points
- 3rd place in a 4-player minigame: 1 point
After the player reaches the rocket, they get 10 points per heart remaining.

Trivia
- Expert Solo is considered the most rigorous challenge, since the player might easily lose hearts when the stages become increasingly tougher because they can't pick their route and the CPU players are more competitive.
- The default best player in Beginner Solo is Hiroshi, a Standard Mii, who completed all 5 stages scoring 71 points, unless you've achieved at least 71.
- The default best player in Intermediate Solo is Keiko, an Expert Mii, who completed all 10 stages scoring 110 points, unless you've scored at least 110.
- The default best player in Expert Solo is Matt, a Master Mii, who completed all 50 stages scoring 425 points, unless you've achieved at least 425.
- The highest possible score in Beginner is 90, the highest possible score in Intermediate is 140, and the highest possible score in Expert is 570.
- Minigames that require luck are not playable in Solo Mode. These minigames are Dicey Descent, Strategy Steps, Lucky Launch, Risky Railroad, and Hide-and-Peek.
- However, minigames with some luck elements, such as Smile Snap and Face Flip, are playable.
- Interestingly, Flag Footrace is not playable as its 4-Player counterpart, Flag Fracas, is already playable; Commuter Count is noticeably absent despite not having a 4-Player counterpart or having any luck elements.
