Information

Game:

Wii Party

Type:

1 Player

Solo Mode is a 1-player mode in the Minigames section of Wii Party.

Gameplay[]

The objective of this game is to get to the rocket ship by passing through stages.

Beginner difficulty has five stages, Intermediate has ten stages, and for Expert, there are 50 stages. Each stage has a 4-player, 1 vs 3 or 1 vs 1 Minigame.

In the easier modes, the player gets to choose Minigames from different paths. Expert mode only has a straight path. The player starts with 3 lives, and they get an extra life (1UP) on every 1 vs 3 Minigame. To pass a stage, the player must win a 1 vs 3 and 1 vs 1 Minigame or come in 1st, 2nd or even 3rd place in a 4 player Minigame (If a player ties in any minigame or ties in last place, it still counts as passing.). If the player places 4th (not tying in last) in a 4 player minigame or loses a 1 vs 3 or 1 vs 1 Minigame, they go back a stage, and they lose a life. Losing all lives ends the game.

Trivia[]

  • Expert Solo is considered the most rigorous challenge, since the player might easily lose hearts when the stages become increasingly tougher because they can't pick their route and the CPU players are more competitive.
  • The default best player in Beginner Solo is Hiroshi, a Standard Mii, who completed all 5 stages scoring 71 points, unless you've achieved at least 71.
  • The default best player in Intermediate Solo is Keiko, an Expert Mii, who completed all 10 stages scoring 110 points, unless you've scored at least 110.
