"Zoom through space as a flying hero! But you'd better choose the right path, or you'll get clobbered by a meteor and lose a heart. The player with hearts remaining at the end of the game is the winner." |
Run to the Sun is an All-Play Minigame in Wii Party U.
Gameplay[]
The player(s) must fly through a cosmic obstacle course with three lives, in which they must frequently choose one of two paths: one side is safe, whilst the other is clouded by meteors that'll take away a heart. Anyone who loses all their hearts is knocked out. This Minigame has a total of five rounds, with the last taking place above the titular star. The players who have the most hearts at the end win.
Ending[]
All remaining players blast off into the great beyond, trailed by the eliminated players, whom are now hovering wobbily and lacking their usual heroic rays.
Spot the Sneak[]
In Spot the Sneak, the Sneak's Wii Remote will rumble if they choose the wrong course.
Controls[]
- Hold the Wii Remote vertically and aim at the sensor bar.
- Tilt the Wiimote in the direction you want to fly, and choose a path.
Trivia[]
- This minigame is similar to Dicey Descent from Wii Party, except there's five rounds instead of three and all players have three lives instead of two.
- This minigame, along with Hide-and-Go-Beak, Lucky Launch and Risky Railroad are all based on luck so there is no clear strategy on how to win.
- The name is a play on the phrase "Run in the sun".
- In two rounds, different meteors appear.
- In one of the first four rounds, purple crystallized meteors appear.
- In the last round, lava meteors will emerge from the Sun below.
- Massimo, Giulia, Barbara, and Ivo appear in the preview for this minigame.
