- In the leak, an early photo of Ren had his favorite color set to Purple instead of Sky Blue as his final design; this likely means that Purple was originally going to be his favorite color during development but it was changed to Sky Blue.
- According to the Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort files, Ren's Internal ID is 007.
- According to the Wii Music files, Ren's Internal ID is 45.
- Ren makes the most consecutive appearances in Swordplay Showdown. He appears in 11 consecutive stages, those stages being stages 10-20.
