Perilous Pathways is a 1 vs Rivals Minigame in Wii Party U.
Introduction[]
The rival players walk in a temple and find the tiles that they have to use to get to the end.
Gameplay (GamePad Player)[]
The Wii U GamePad Player must tap one tile at a time to set a trap. Once the trap has been set, the GamePad Player can tap that tile again to deactivate the trap. The Rival Players will know if you set the traps because next to them are pictures of skulls with crossbones. They will light up when you set up a trap in a tile.
Once you set all the traps and are satisfied with what you selected, you press OK on your GamePad and hope for the best.
Gameplay (Rival Players)[]
The Rival Players must walk on the tiles and try to guess the way to go. The tiles that are near a tile set as a trap will glow when you step on it. Once you step on a tile that has a trap put on it, you will instantly get eliminated. You have a total of 30 seconds to try and find the correct path. If you don't within the time limit, you'll fail instantly.
Ending[]
If the Wii U GamePad player wins, the last Mii out of the rival players will fall into a tile set as a trap, and the minigame ends.
If the Rival Players win, they will pose in victory while the exit of the temple opens up.
