- This also makes him the last Male Mii to be added to Wii Sports Club.

Pavel appears on the Wii Party U logo along with Sophia, Haruka, and João.
Pavel, along with Barbara and Jeff, appears in a Miitopia screenshot on the official English website and is one of the few CPU Miis to be in one. In said screenshot, he appears as the worried explorer.
- He also stars in the game's cartoon intro, dancing with Susie. Cheng-Han and Laura also star in the intro.
- He also has different eyebrows in the intro, those eyebrows being the type that Miis like William and Laura have.
His Mii data file shows that despite using a mouth type that doesn't have lipstick, Pavel is set to have pink lips instead of the default orange color. He also has unused facial hair. It is the same color as his hair. This might be a remnant of an earlier design for him.
- Apart from the facial hair, this might suggest that he was originally going to be a female Mii because no male Miis have pink lipstick but he was changed to a male.
- Apart from the lipstick, it could also suggest that he was originally going to be an adult Mii since no children have facial hair, but it was removed in his final design.
An auburn haired version of Pavel appears in a Spanish Streetpass Mii Plaza trailer. In it, his name is Hugo. He also has the eyebrows that Matt (Wii) has and are also set to auburn, and are rotated up by one stage. He also has his mouth one stage bigger and moved down.
- He later appears for a second time in a Nintendo Switch Miitopia trailer. His design has been slightly altered, having a smaller mouth, a different hairstyle (the same one that Luca has) and no blush marks.
He appears in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe overview trailer, where he is shown racing as Isabelle.
- Unlike the rest of the Mii characters that appeared in the trailer, who have all of their names written in Latin script, Pavel's name is written in Cyrillic script (Павел).
