Nintendo is a multinational corporation located in Kyoto, Japan. It is the video game company that developed that developed popular games, in respect to this wiki, such as Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Nintendo is also Japan's third most valuable listed company. (Citation needed) They also make gaming consoles from the Nintendo Entertainment System to the Nintendo Switch.

Origins

Originally founded it 1889 as a playing-card company, Nintendo was founded as Yamauchi Nintendo (山内任天堂) by Fusajiro Yamauchi on September 23, 1889. Based in Kyoto, Japan, the business produced and marketed hanafuda. In the more modern 1970’s, and with its help from Allan Alcorn, it made its first game console: The Color TV Game 6.
