Maze Daze is a 4-player minigame in Wii Party.
Gameplay[]
The goal is to reach the center of the maze first. The players have their separated place to move. However, there are two spinners that will mess up the player's controls. Players must figure out how to move in the right direction.
The first player to reach the center wins. The minigame ends when 3 players have reached to the center of the maze.
Controls[]
- Hold the Wii Remote horizontally and use the D-Pad to move. When you step on a dizzy spinner, it will mix up your controls.
Hint: When the player steps on a spinner, the direction that each side of the D-Pad moves is rotated, so an easy way to win the game is to keep rotating your Wii remote until your Mii starts moving in the same direction that corresponds to the D-Pad's orientation.
Ending[]
The camera zooms at the center. Then the players make a victory pose. Players perform their pose on the results screen. However, the person in first place poses differently than they do on the results screen.
Spot the Sneak[]
This minigame can appear in Spot the Sneak. In this case, the sneak's controls won't mix up when they go on a dizzy spinner.
Trivia[]
- The default time for the minigame is 5 minutes; the timer only shows up during the last 10 seconds.
- Miis who do not reach the center by this point will do the regular "did not finish" animation.
- The layout of the maze changes every time you play.
- A very easy way to cheese this game is by rotating the wii remote.
