Lap Happy is an All-Play Minigame in Wii Party U.
Gameplay[]
The players must dive into the water, then complete three laps across the pool as fast as possible. They will use different button configurations to swim each lap. Whoever completes the medley first is the winner.
Controls[]
- Hold the Wii Remote horizontally, and wait for the beginning countdown.
- On "Go!", press 2 to dive into the water. If you try to dive too early, you'll stumble and lose time.
- For the first lap, press the A and 2 buttons alternatively to swim.
- On the second lap, rotate your thumb around the D-Pad in a counterclockwise direction.
- On the final lap, twirl the Wii Remote in a circular motion.
Spot the Sneak[]
In Spot the Sneak, the Sneak can hold the B button to swim at the fastest possible speed.

Trivia[]
- The name of this Minigame is a pun on the term "Slap happy".
- At the beginning of the minigame, some players may be seen waving with both hands and jumping twice, which is an animation the spectator Miis do in other minigames with audiences.
- If two players finish at extremely similar times, a slow-motion replay will prove who rightfully came 1st.
- Looking closely during this replay shows the coaches at the end of each lane will make an angry expression when their swimmer approaches them.
- It is possible to beat Master Difficulty CPUs at this minigame, however most people cannot do so.
- Like other minigames in the Wii Party series, CPU players will go faster once human players finish.
