- He is the first preview Mii whose name is revealed in a file in the September 2020 Nintendo leak.
- Even though Kurt is wearing a Wii Music outfit alongside the other preview Miis, he is nowhere to be seen in that game or any previews or promotional pictures of it.
- He can be seen in a video preview of Cycling, Canoeing, and Power Cruising. He can also be seen in a photo preview of Basketball and Archery.
- On the Japanese Nintendo website, he can be seen playing Buddy Quiz with Takashi and Masako, two unused Miis from Wii Fit Plus.
