- Since James is the Cycling Referee, you never race against him in Cycling, either in Road Race or in VS. The same goes for Vincenzo since he is the coach of the player.
- He is one of the Miis that wear Black Armor in level 13 of Swordplay Showdown, along with the Boss Marisa.
- James is ambidextrous because he is left-handed in Tennis and Table Tennis, but right-handed in Baseball.
