  • Since James is the Cycling Referee, you can never race against him in Cycling either in Road Race or in VS. The same goes for Vincenzo since he is the coach of the player.
  • He is one of the Miis that wear Black Armor in level 13 of Swordplay Showdown, along with the Boss, Marisa.
  • If you mod Stage 20 and put 80 enemies in, James will become the 70th Mii.
  • James is ambidextrous because he is left-handed in Tennis and Table Tennis, but right-handed in Baseball.
  • Despite not racing in Cycling, datamining the CPU skill data file in Wii Sports Resort shows that if he were to race in Cycling, he would place 99th out of 100. Though he was never meant to race, this value is reserved for the Cycling referee.
