|Wii Party U|
|"Hide behind the barriers so that the curious ostrich won't find you. The player who manages to avoid the ostrich wins the game."|
Hide-and-Go-Beak is a 4-player minigame in Wii Party U.
You have 10 seconds to choose a bush to hide yourself. The system is first-come, first-served. So, you can't pick the same bush if another player has picked it first. After that, an ostrich will go around the bushes and knocks down a random bush.
This game is luck based, so fate decides who wins, not the hiding spots. Sometimes, the ostrich will analize the bush to make the player hiding in it a bit anxious.
The ostrich will pull down a bush when it finally picked one and will peck the player's head (if there is one in that bush anyway). If the bush that the ostrich pulled down doesn't have anyone in it, then the ostrich will just continue on normally.
Whoever is the last man/woman standing wins.
- This minigame, along with Run to the Sun, Risky Railway, and Lucky Launch from Wii Party are based on luck. No matter which fake bush or fake grass the player or CPU picks, the winner will always be luck dependent.
- If you look at it correctly, the ostrich doesn't touch a player's head when pecking them.
