Globe Trot (海外旅行ゲーム (Overseas Travel Game) in the Japanese version) is one of the 5 modes in Wii Party. In this mode, players have to travel around the World to visit Hot Spots and collect souvenir photos and the player who has the most at the end of the game wins. This mode is similar to the board games in the Mario Party series.
Rules[]
The game will start with showing the players the Hot Spots in three different locations. In each turn, players will compete in a 4-player minigame to win coins and to sort the turn order in that round. The player who places 1st gets 10 coins, 2nd place gets 5 coins, 3rd place gets 3 coins, and 4th place gets 1 coin. Players are given five cards which they can use. Starting with the 8th round, the player(s) in last place chooses a 4-player minigame. After 10 rounds, the game will go into overtime and will end after another 10 rounds or when someone gets a Souvenir photo. When someone visits a Hot Spot, or country, they get a Souvenir photo and they spend 10 coins. The person who gets to the last Hot spot in overtime is given a bonus Souvenir photo, including Shopping Trip, Sightseeing, and taste tour. The player with the most coins and Souvenir photos at the end of the game wins.
Hot Spots[]
Hot Spots can appear in one of three categories, Taste Tour, Sightseeing, and Shopping Trip. Three Hot Spots will appear at a time, with a new set of three appearing once all existing Hot Spots have been obtained. All Hot Spot Souvenir photos cost 10 coins.
There are twelve possible locations where a hotspot can appear, and they are:

Trivia[]
- Depending on which version you have, you will start in different locations. The North American version starts in the United States, the PAL version starts in Germany (since Nintendo of Europe's HQ is located in Germany), the Japanese version starts in Japan and the Korean version starts in South Korea. With this in mind, it is impossible to go to a certain hot spot in each version as the starting point won't change into a hot spot. For example, it is impossible for an American Player to visit the United States while a PAL and Japanese player can do so.
- This party game mode has a similar game style to Sega's party game Sonic Shuffle.
- In the Korean version, you start in South Korea. However, there is no Hot Spot for South Korea in other versions, meaning the Korean version is the only version in which South Korea is mentioned. The Korean version changed the map to put South Korea in, replacing the Japan Hot Spot.
- In the Japanese version, there are three Sightseeing souvenir photos that are different than in the other versions. They are:
- Canada: Instead of visiting Whistler Mountain, you visit Niagara Falls.
- Mexico: Instead of seeing a mariachi band, you watch a lucha libre match.
- Singapore: Instead of visiting Sentosa Island, you visit Merlion Park.
