- He was the first Italian Mii to be added to Wii Sports Club.
Massimo was featured in a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U promotion for the Knuckles suit, alongside Joost as Tails.
In Mario Kart 8/Deluxe Massimo's name is spelled like "Nin★Massim" because the game can only store 10 characters in a name. He appears as a Staff Ghost on Water Park, Mount Wario, DS Cheep Cheep Beach, DS Wario Stadium, 3DS Neo Bowser City, N64 Choco Mountain, and Wii Mushroom Gorge.
- According to his Mario Kart 8 profile, his country of origin is Italy.
Massimo is right-handed.
In an artwork for Mario Kart 8/8 Deluxe promoting Amiibo, he is seen using Link's racing suit. He also appears with this outfit in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe overview trailer.
