Bowling

Bowling is one of the 5 training sports featured in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Club.

There are three different training modes for this sport on each games:

  • Wii Sports: Picking Up Spares, Power Throws, Spin Control
  • Wii Sports Club: Spare Pickups, Tricky Pins, 100-Pin Pro

Wii Sports

Picking Up Spares

A player must knock down all the pins that have been placed in a variety of places to qualify. If the player makes 5 mistakes, the game ends. There are 20 lanes to pass.

Power Throws is a game with ten stages. The player attempts to knock down as many pins as they can. The number of pins increases with every stage eventually ending up with a total of 91 pins. One point is awarded per pin knocked down. When you have a strike the points will be doubled on the stage. The highest score possible is 890 pins.

  • Bronze medal = 400
  • Silver medal = 500

  • Platinum medal = 700

In 100-Pin Pro, there are 7 stages in which 100 pins on each stage are set up to resemble an object. The player has 3 chances to knock them all down, and if he or she failed, the game will just move on to the next stage.
