Beginner Difficulty (ふつう/普通) is the first CPU rank in Wii Party and Wii Party U.
Overview[]
Beginner is the easiest difficulty. Miis in this rank tend to perform poorly in minigames and can be beaten easily. They are usually depicted at the bottom of the rankings.
The other four CPU Skills are Standard Difficulty, Advanced Difficulty, Expert Difficulty, and Master Difficulty.

- In Wii Party U, Beginner is the only CPU Skill with more Miis on it, with 23. All the other CPU Skills have 22 Miis.
- In Wii Party U, there are 16 males and only 7 females in Beginner Difficulty.
- This means that Beginner is the difficulty with the most males and least females in Wii Party U.
- In Board Game Island, Globe Trot, Swap Meet, Spin-Off, and Bingo of Wii Party, if you set Player 2, Player 3, and Player 4 to autoplay, then this skill will be automatically set to Beginner Difficulty. Even though these players are not CPU Miis, they behave exactly like them.
- Haruka and Rui are the only Miis in this difficulty who don't hold any default rankings.
- No Mii whose favorite color is Forest Green and only 3 Miis whose favorite color is Lime Green in Beginner Difficulty.
