Archery in Beginner mode.

Hidden targets hit!

Archery is one of the 12 sports in Wii Sports Resort. It is a sport where the player has to use a bow and arrow and try to hit the bullseye (10 points). Wind speed and direction are other factors that the player needs to consider when aiming for the bullseye. There is a secret food target in each stage; try to find them all to get a Stamp. Hidden Targets in the Beginner stage

1. The first hidden target in Beginner Stage is an orange by the waterfall.
2. The next hidden target is a watermelon on the cliff.
3. The next hidden target is a cantaloupe under the tree at the left close to the bridge.
4. The last hidden target is a strawberry cake on the lower right.

Hidden Targets in Intermediate stage

1. The first hidden target in the Intermediate Stage is an orange which is located at the Tennis Court on the right.
2. The second hidden target is a watermelon at the top of the bridge.
3. The next hidden target is a cantaloupe in front of the castle at the gate.
4. The last hidden target is a loaf of bread at the top of a cliff on the right, next to a tree.

Hidden Targets in the Expert stage

1. The first hidden target in the Expert Stage is an orange on the right on the beach.
2. The next hidden target is a watermelon at the right between the two cliffs. You can only hit its top because it locates just after a hill.
3. The third hidden target is a cantaloupe on top of the left ruin statue.
4. The last hidden target is an electronic clock in the volcano on the right. To hit it, point just at the right of one of the rocks. It's the only hidden target not to be a piece of food.

Gameplay

There are 3 different modes which the user can choose from:

• Beginner
• Intermediate
• Expert

In each mode, different areas around Wuhu Island are used. There are also 4 different levels in each mode. The distance between the player and shooting board increases, the wind speed picks up and the wind direction is changing, even with the last level of the Expert mode having the wind blowing from the bottom as the range is in Maka Wuhu (Mt Tengamanga in Europe). The most points you can get are 120. You can also pull back C instead of Z.

Trivia

• This was featured in The Big Bang Theory, season 4, episode 20, depicting Leonard and Sheldon playing the sport.
• This is one of the three sports in Wii Sports Resort that only have one gameplay mode. The other two are Wakeboarding and Golf.
